When times are tough it’s easy to find yourself wishing your luck would change, that if you could just catch a lucky break like that other entrepreneur, things would be different.

The truth is that to build a better business, first you must build a better entrepreneur. (That’s you!)

Yes luck always helps and many of the worlds most successful entrepreneurs happily admit that they had some good luck along the way. Being in the right place, at the right time, with the right idea.

But unless you intend on relying on luck to bring your business building dreams to life, the best thing you can do to help ensure you achieve your entrepreneurial goals is go to work on yourself.

Go to work on building your business skills and knowledge. Go to work on developing an optimistic, determined, unstoppable attitude. Go to work on your leadership skills and your ability to inspire people with your vision. Go to work on your ability to see opportunities where others see problems.

As some old Roman dude said, luck is when when preparation meets opportunity. I think you’ll find that the more prepared you are, and the better you are able to identify and create opportunities, the less you’ll need to rely on luck, but the more of it you will have! RL.
